Clonfinlough is a tiny hamlet atop an esker on the south side of the River Shannon in the Irish midlands. Sister Bridget Kelly, a Dominican nun and friend of my friend Ronnie Peterson, grew up there, and Mrs. Peterson asked me to take some pictures for her if I had the chance during my wife's and my stay in nearby Birr in 2010. I was happy to oblige; these images were taken on the afternoon of Sunday, August 22nd, 2010.
