Dominican Priory, Lorrha, County Tipperary

The lovely town of Lorrha, in far northern County Tipperary near the triple-boundary point of Counties Tipperary, Galway, and Offaly, is far off any beaten path.  It lay along a shortcut that Diane and I used to travel from our "home" in Birr to a favorite restaurant on Lough Derg, so we naturally stumbled on Lorrha's charms -- including this 13th-century priory and its surrounding graveyard.
