Kilmacduagh
Kilmacduagh, on the southeastern fringes of the Burren near Gort, was contemporaneous with Clonmacnoise but is now significantly less famous. Its bristle of grave markers is impressive, though, as is the more ancient pattern of strata in the limestone hills of the Burren beyond it. |
