Newgrange from the Top of Knowth

View generally southeastward from the top of the largest Knowth tumulus toward the more famous Newgrange passage grave site.  The main tunnel inside the Newgrange mound is oriented toward the winter solstice rising point of the Sun; Knowth's two passages (meters below us in this view) are oriented toward the equinoxes' sunrise and sunset points on the horizon.
