There were other things besides the domestic arts exhibit going on around the periphery – mostly things to keep children active and entertained, such as a kids’ step-dancing competition and a dog show.  These girls were watching and participating in the latter.  Note the stuffed animals.
And, yes, this little event did make the venue, literally, a dog and pony show.
