The Whippytime truck didn’t generate a whole lot of business: the day was cool, quite overcast, and occasionally damp with a thin sprinkle of rain. Nobody seemed to mind very much (we certainly didn’t), and we saw a lot of smiles, grins, and laughing faces. Even on the people. (As an aside, the American idiom "rest room" still hasn't insinuated its way into day-to-day usage in Ireland -- even though "french fry" has pretty well replaced "chips" -- and, as the signpost indicates, a more direct term is used.)
