Byrne's Mal Dua House in Clifden.  This was a superb place to stay; only abut 10 rooms composed the place, the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, breakfast (included) as great, and Aideen Byrne was a gracious hostess.  We liked it so much that we booked another stay for a couple of weeks later, when the pony show was to be in progress
