On a preternaturally spring like Friday afternoon, DeAnza College's Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering Division (PSM&E) held a poignant meeting: one in which our new Dean (Jerry Rosenberg) was introduced by the College's President and Vice President of Instruction, and one in which our beloved, long-term Dean, Anne Leskinen did... well, she did what she usually does.  She took no prisoners, she made no excuses, she considered no accommodations, she left no bridge unburned -- all the while making no immediately visible waves, as befits a well-raised Canadian. That's a good set of character traits for someone in whose trust one puts his or her livelihood, and in whose hands we put our interests.

That's why we love her, and why we always will.
