Photograph of an 1891 photograph by Laurence Parsons, Fourth Earl of Rosse while he was on his second tour of North America.  The trees here are in what is now Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park near Felton, California -- only about nine miles from my home and a place where I often take my dog for an outing!
