Tower, Kilkenny Castle.  The flag is for the Co. Kilkenny team, a perennial power in the annual All-Ireland Hurling Championship tournament, which was in progress during our visit.  This year, however, Kilkenny would ultimately be upset by Tipperary in the championship match on the last day of our stay in Ireland.
