The town of Birr is a quiet place on a Sunday morning.  This is the centre of town, Emmett Square.  The festive decorations are left over from Birr's annual Heritage Week, which was the week before this picture was taken.  (All of our pictures from Heritage Week are of the video variety, so none show up in this collection.)
