After the ceremony, most of the "older generation" wandered away, leaving the park to the reunion of Doug's friends from his youth. These pictures, courtesy of Lara Hoeber, convey a sense of a Saturday afternoon party in the park that Doug would have liked to have been a part of. And that, I think, was pretty much the point.
