The main intersection (if there is such a thing) in Ballyvaughan is a "T" right at the Hyland's Burren Hotel.  Just left of center in this shot is the main signpost in town, and it illustrates well the frustrating nature of Irish road signs -- frustrating, that is, to someone used to American road signs.  In Ireland, the idea seems to be that one should come up close to the signs giving various options, stop, study them prudently and carefully, and, only after having mulled the issue over well, then proceed.

If you were truly in a rush, then you'd already know where you were going.
